Targoum sur Isaïe 58:3
לָ֤מָּה צַּ֙מְנוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א רָאִ֔יתָ עִנִּ֥ינוּ נַפְשֵׁ֖נוּ וְלֹ֣א תֵדָ֑ע הֵ֣ן בְּי֤וֹם צֹֽמְכֶם֙ תִּמְצְאוּ־חֵ֔פֶץ וְכָל־עַצְּבֵיכֶ֖ם תִּנְגֹּֽשׂוּ׃
"Pourquoi jeûnons-nous, sans que tu t’en aperçoives? Mortifions-nous notre personne, sans que tu le remarques? " C’est qu’au jour de votre jeûne, vous poursuivez vos intérêts et tyrannisez vos débiteurs.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
They say, Wherefore do we fast, as it is revealed before Thee? wherefore have we afflicted ourselves, as known unto Thee? The prophet said unto them, Behold, in the day of your fast ye seek your extortions, and ye bring near all your stumbling-blocks.
