וְאֵין־קוֹרֵ֣א בְשִׁמְךָ֔ מִתְעוֹרֵ֖ר לְהַחֲזִ֣יק בָּ֑ךְ כִּֽי־הִסְתַּ֤רְתָּ פָנֶ֙יךָ֙ מִמֶּ֔נּוּ וַתְּמוּגֵ֖נוּ בְּיַד־עֲוֺנֵֽנוּ׃
Personne ne s’est plus réclamé de ton nom, ne s’est fait un devoir de te rester attaché. Aussi nous avais-tu dérobé ta face, nous avais-tu laissé succomber sous le poids de nos iniquités.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
And there is none that prayeth in Thy name willing to lay hold on Thy fear; because Thou hast taken away the fear of Thy Shekinah from us, and Thou hast delivered us to the power of our sins.
