Targoum sur Isaïe 8:17
וְחִכִּ֙יתִי֙ לַיהוָ֔ה הַמַּסְתִּ֥יר פָּנָ֖יו מִבֵּ֣ית יַעֲקֹ֑ב וְקִוֵּ֖יתִֽי־לֽוֹ׃
J’ai mis ma confiance en Dieu, qui voile présentement sa face à la maison de Jacob, et j’espère en lui.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
The prophet said, On account of this I prayed before the Lord, who has said that he would take away His Shekinah from the house of Jacob, and I intreated before Him.
