Targoum sur L’Ecclésiaste 2:19
וּמִ֣י יוֹדֵ֗עַ הֶֽחָכָ֤ם יִהְיֶה֙ א֣וֹ סָכָ֔ל וְיִשְׁלַט֙ בְּכָל־עֲמָלִ֔י שֶֽׁעָמַ֥לְתִּי וְשֶׁחָכַ֖מְתִּי תַּ֣חַת הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ גַּם־זֶ֖ה הָֽבֶל׃
Or, qui sait s’il sera sage ou sot? Et pourtant il sera maître de tout ce que j’aurai acquis sous le soleil par mon travail et mon ingéniosité. Cela aussi est vanité.
Aramaic Targum to Ecclesiastes
And who knows whether wise or foolish will be the king who is to be after me, and reign over all my labour which I laboured in this world, and over all which I accomplish in my wisdom under the sun in this world? and I was confounded in my heart, and again said: This, too, is vanity.
