עודינה [עוֹדֵ֙ינוּ֙] תִּכְלֶ֣ינָה עֵינֵ֔ינוּ אֶל־עֶזְרָתֵ֖נוּ הָ֑בֶל בְּצִפִּיָּתֵ֣נוּ צִפִּ֔ינוּ אֶל־גּ֖וֹי לֹ֥א יוֹשִֽׁעַ׃ (ס)
Nos yeux n’avaient cessé de se consumer dans le vain espoir d’un secours; dans notre folle confiance, nous mettions notre attente en un peuple impuissant à secourir.
