Tes pâtres sommeillent, ô roi d’Achour, tes braves demeurent immobiles. Tes gens sont dispersés sur les montagnes, et personne pour les rassembler!

Broken are thy strong men, O king of Assyria. The people of thy armies are in exile. Thy people are scattered upon the mountains and there is no one gathering them.
