Targoum sur Les Nombres 14:16
מִבִּלְתִּ֞י יְכֹ֣לֶת יְהוָ֗ה לְהָבִיא֙ אֶת־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה אֶל־הָאָ֖רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־נִשְׁבַּ֣ע לָהֶ֑ם וַיִּשְׁחָטֵ֖ם בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃
"Parce que l’Éternel n’a pu faire entrer ce peuple dans le pays qu’il leur avait solennellement promis, il les a égorgés dans le désert."
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
Because there was no (more) strength with the Lord to bring this people into the land which swearing He a promised to them, He hath killed them in the wilderness!
