כָּל־הֶעָרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר תִּתְּנוּ֙ לַלְוִיִּ֔ם אַרְבָּעִ֥ים וּשְׁמֹנֶ֖ה עִ֑יר אֶתְהֶ֖ן וְאֶת־מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶֽן׃
Total des villes que vous donnerez aux Lévites: quarante-huit villes, avec leurs banlieues.
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
All the cities that you give to the Levites shall be forty-eight cities with their suburbs.
