וַיָּ֥מָת אֱלִימֶ֖לֶךְ אִ֣ישׁ נָעֳמִ֑י וַתִּשָּׁאֵ֥ר הִ֖יא וּשְׁנֵ֥י בָנֶֽיהָ׃
Elimélec, l’époux de Noémi, y mourut, et elle resta seule avec ses deux fils.

Elimelech, the husband of Naomi, died, and she was left a widow, and her two sons were left orphans.
