Targoum sur Ruth 2:22
וַתֹּ֥אמֶר נָעֳמִ֖י אֶל־ר֣וּת כַּלָּתָ֑הּ ט֣וֹב בִּתִּ֗י כִּ֤י תֵֽצְאִי֙ עִם־נַ֣עֲרוֹתָ֔יו וְלֹ֥א יִפְגְּעוּ־בָ֖ךְ בְּשָׂדֶ֥ה אַחֵֽר׃
Et Noémi dit à Ruth, sa bru: "Il vaut bien mieux, ma fille, que tu ailles avec ses servantes; ainsi tu ne seras pas exposée à être mal accueillie dans un autre champ."
Aramaic Targum to Ruth
Then said Naomi to Ruth her daughter-in-law: "It is well, my daughter, that you should go out with his young women, so that they might not meet you in any other field."
