And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; for 27The blind are supposed not to know any way; I. E. thinks it therefore necessary to point out that they sometimes know their way. even the blind, if accustomed to a path, go there without a guide. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. Some28The Hebrew text has ישוח, which is either a corruption of יש some, or a proper name. Comp. also c. xl. I will do them Heb. עֲשִׂיתִם [lit. I did them], I will do. So is the language of prophecy, to speak of the future as if it was already done.
