Vanity of vanities. I see in the world.

Says Koheles. He who had a collection of wisdom within him.⁴⁸See Rashi above 7:27 for an explanation why “קהלת” which is a feminine noun is sometimes used in the masculine form.

All is vanity. All that was created during the six days of creation.
