And destruction shall come upon rebels... For with all these expressions he reproved them above: and they rebelled against Me (verse 2), sinful nation; they forsook the Lord (verse 4).

פושעים Transgressors. They that rebel against authority.⁵⁰Comp. ver. 2. They are worse than חטאים sinners. And the destruction of the transgressors shall be TOGETHER. ALL the fortified towns of Judah shall be captured.
