שם Name. The person himself.²³Comp. I. E. on Ruth 3:16, and Sefer hashem, 100:1. שאר That is near to him.²⁴A. V., Remnant. Comp. Lev. 20:6. The father is meant. נין Son. נכד Grandson.²⁵A. V., Nephew.

and a son Heb. וְנִין, a son ruling in the kingdom of his father.
