The reader should always aim to begin reading with a subject favorable for Israel and to end with a subject favorable for Israel. Likewise, he should not end where the evil deed of someone is recorded.⁴⁸Based on the verse אַל תַּעֲמוֹד בְּדָבָר רָע—“Do not stop at something evil” (Eccl. 8:3).
