וָאֲבַקֵּ֣שׁ מֵהֶ֡ם אִ֣ישׁ גֹּֽדֵר־גָּדֵר֩ וְעֹמֵ֨ד בַּפֶּ֧רֶץ לְפָנַ֛י בְּעַ֥ד הָאָ֖רֶץ לְבִלְתִּ֣י שַׁחֲתָ֑הּ וְלֹ֖א מָצָֽאתִי׃

Aku mencari di antara mereka seseorang yang mau mendirikan tembok dan berdiri di celah tembok itu di hadapan-Ku demi negeri ini, supaya Aku tidak memusnahkannya, tetapi Aku tidak menemukan seorang pun.

And threw it upon the shore — the Tzaddik is called "shore (GoDa)," a term for fence (GaDer), since he fences the breaches of Israel (Eze. 22, Isa. 58), and this is: "And threw it upon the shore," since he drew himself close to the Tzaddik.
