Lalu suatu roh mengangkat aku, dan aku mendengar di belakangku suara gemuruh yang dahsyat: “Terpujilah kemuliaan Yang Mahakekal dari tempat-Nya.”
The Gate of Unity
(This is like the [difference between] the prophecies of Isaiah regarding the Serafim [angels] of Briyah, who say,23Isaiah 6:3 “Holy, [Holy, Holy etc,]” and the [prophecies] of Ezekiel regarding the Chayot [angels] and Ophanim [angels] who say, “Blessed [be the Glory of HaShem-יהו״ה from His place] etc.”24Ezekiel 3:12; Talmud Bavli, Chulin 92a and Tosefot there; Maamarei Admor HaEmtzaee, Hanachot 5577 pg. 22.)
Tzava'at HaRivash
This may be understood according to what is known, that the attribute of Avraham is the attribute of kindness-Chessed, as it states,225Micah 7:20 “kindness to Avraham.” Now, our sages, of blessed memory, stated226Talmud Bavli, Chullin 91b that there are angels that only recite songs of HaShem’s praise once every seven years, and others that they only recite songs of HaShem’s praise once per Jubilee. Moreover, what they do recite, they recite in short. That is, there are those angels who recite227Isaiah 6:3 “Holy, holy, holy is HaShem Tzva’ot,” and there are others who recite, “Blessed is the glory of HaShem from His place,”228Ezekiel 3:12 while there are other angels that recite other solitary verses, as known that there are angels that each recite one verse of the Psalm229Psalms 136 that begins “Thank HaShem, for He is good; for His kindness endures forever,” and the like. Every Jew, on the other hand, is entitled to sing and praise HaShem at any time or occasion, and can praise HaShem extensively, with all manner of honor and songs of praise, without limit.
