וַאֲמַ֣ר מַלְכָּ֗א וְהַיְתִ֞יו גֻּבְרַיָּ֤א אִלֵּךְ֙ דִּֽי־אֲכַ֤לוּ קַרְצ֙וֹהִי֙ דִּ֣י דָֽנִיֵּ֔אל וּלְגֹ֤ב אַרְיָוָתָא֙ רְמ֔וֹ אִנּ֖וּן בְּנֵיה֣וֹן וּנְשֵׁיה֑וֹן וְלָֽא־מְט֞וֹ לְאַרְעִ֣ית גֻּבָּ֗א עַ֠ד דִּֽי־שְׁלִ֤טֽוּ בְהוֹן֙ אַרְיָ֣וָתָ֔א וְכָל־גַּרְמֵיה֖וֹן הַדִּֽקוּ׃
Lalu raja memberi perintah, maka dibawalah orang-orang yang telah memfitnah Daniel itu, dan mereka dilemparkan ke dalam lubang singa, mereka beserta anak-anak dan istri-istri mereka; dan belum lagi mereka sampai ke dasar lubang itu, singa-singa itu sudah menerkam mereka dan meremukkan semua tulang mereka.
