וַיָּ֨סַר הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ אֶת־טַבַּעְתּ֗וֹ אֲשֶׁ֤ר הֶֽעֱבִיר֙ מֵֽהָמָ֔ן וַֽיִּתְּנָ֖הּ לְמָרְדֳּכָ֑י וַתָּ֧שֶׂם אֶסְתֵּ֛ר אֶֽת־מָרְדֳּכַ֖י עַל־בֵּ֥ית הָמָֽן׃ (פ)
Lalu raja melepaskan cincin meterainya, yang telah diambilnya dari Haman, dan memberikannya kepada Mordekhai. Dan Ester mengangkat Mordekhai menjadi kepala atas rumah Haman.
Tze'enah Ure'enah
“The king slipped off his ring” [8:2]. The king took off the ring that Haman had and gave it to Mordecai. That is to say, with that ring the king made Mordecai his vizier. Esther gave Mordecai Haman’s house after he became the vizier.
