וְאֶת־כָּל־חֶלְבָּ֣הּ יָסִ֗יר כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר הוּסַ֣ר חֵלֶב֮ מֵעַ֣ל זֶ֣בַח הַשְּׁלָמִים֒ וְהִקְטִ֤יר הַכֹּהֵן֙ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה לְרֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהוָ֑ה וְכִפֶּ֥ר עָלָ֛יו הַכֹּהֵ֖ן וְנִסְלַ֥ח לֽוֹ׃ (פ)
Seluruh lemaknya harus ia sisihkan, sama seperti lemak disisihkan dari korban keselamatan. Lalu imam harus membakarnya menjadi asap di atas mezbah sebagai aroma yang menyenangkan bagi Yang Mahakekal. Demikianlah imam itu harus mengadakan pendamaian baginya, dan ia akan diampuni.

כאשר הוסר הלב מעל זבח השלמים [AND HE SHALL REMOVE ALL THE FAT] AS THE FAT IS REMOVED FROM OFF THE SACRIFICE OF PEACE OFFERINGS — i.e. as the fat portions of the goat which are mentioned in the case of peace offerings (cf. previous verse).

V. 31. ואת כל חלבה יסיר וגו׳ ebenso V. 35. Bei פר כהן המשיח (V. 8) und פר העלם דבר (V.19) heißt es יריס. Vielleicht, weil bei den פרים כהן הנשרפין nur die חלבים ihre Bestimmung wie חלבי שלמים in אכילת מזבח erreichen, das Übrige aber נשרף חוץ למחנה, und heißt diesem letzteren gegenüber das Herausnehmen der חלבים: הרמה, sie ihrer Bestimmung erhalten.

והקטיר המזבחה, “and make it smoke on the altar.” The expression ריח ניחוח, “of pleasing odour,” is missing here as when an individual of high rank sins, G–d is more harsh than He is with average people.
