וַיְהִ֡י כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר צָֽלֲלוּ֩ שַׁעֲרֵ֨י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם לִפְנֵ֣י הַשַּׁבָּ֗ת וָאֹֽמְרָה֙ וַיִּסָּגְר֣וּ הַדְּלָת֔וֹת וָאֹ֣מְרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א יִפְתָּח֔וּם עַ֖ד אַחַ֣ר הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת וּמִנְּעָרַ֗י הֶֽעֱמַ֙דְתִּי֙ עַל־הַשְּׁעָרִ֔ים לֹא־יָב֥וֹא מַשָּׂ֖א בְּי֥וֹם הַשַּׁבָּֽת׃
Ketika gerbang-gerbang Yerusalem mulai dinaungi bayang-bayang senja menjelang Sabat, aku memberi perintah, lalu pintu-pintu ditutup, dan aku memerintahkan agar pintu-pintu itu tidak dibuka sampai Sabat berlalu. Aku juga menempatkan beberapa orang bawahanku di gerbang-gerbang, supaya tidak ada muatan yang masuk pada hari Sabat.
