אִם־גַּנָּבִ֤ים בָּאֽוּ־לְךָ֙ אִם־שׁ֣וֹדְדֵי לַ֔יְלָה אֵ֣יךְ נִדְמֵ֔יתָה הֲל֥וֹא יִגְנְב֖וּ דַּיָּ֑ם אִם־בֹּֽצְרִים֙ בָּ֣אוּ לָ֔ךְ הֲל֖וֹא יַשְׁאִ֥ירוּ עֹלֵלֽוֹת׃
Jika pencuri-pencuri datang kepadamu, jika perampok-perampok pada malam hari — bagaimana engkau bisa terlelap diam saja! — bukankah mereka hanya akan mencuri secukupnya? Jika pemetik-pemetik anggur datang kepadamu, bukankah mereka akan meninggalkan sisa-sisa petikan?
