בְּבֹאָ֣ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֗ים וְלֹֽא־יֵצְא֤וּ מֵהַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ אֶל־הֶחָצֵ֣ר הַחִיצוֹנָ֔ה וְשָׁ֞ם יַנִּ֧יחוּ בִגְדֵיהֶ֛ם אֲשֶׁר־יְשָׁרְת֥וּ בָהֶ֖ן כִּֽי־קֹ֣דֶשׁ הֵ֑נָּה ילבשו [וְלָבְשׁוּ֙] בְּגָדִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים וְקָרְב֖וּ אֶל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר לָעָֽם׃
Apabila para imam masuk ke sana, mereka tidak boleh keluar dari tempat kudus ke pelataran luar dengan pakaian itu. Di sanalah mereka harus meletakkan pakaian yang mereka pakai untuk melayani, sebab pakaian itu kudus. Mereka harus mengenakan pakaian lain, barulah mereka boleh mendekati apa yang menjadi milik umat.”
