לֵאמֹ֡ר הֵ֣ן יְשַׁלַּ֣ח אִ֣ישׁ אֶת־אִשְׁתּוֹ֩ וְהָלְכָ֨ה מֵאִתּ֜וֹ וְהָיְתָ֣ה לְאִישׁ־אַחֵ֗ר הֲיָשׁ֤וּב אֵלֶ֙יהָ֙ ע֔וֹד הֲל֛וֹא חָנ֥וֹף תֶּחֱנַ֖ף הָאָ֣רֶץ הַהִ֑יא וְאַ֗תְּ זָנִית֙ רֵעִ֣ים רַבִּ֔ים וְשׁ֥וֹב אֵלַ֖י נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה׃
Dikatakan: “Apabila seorang laki-laki menceraikan istrinya, lalu perempuan itu pergi darinya dan menjadi istri laki-laki lain, apakah laki-laki itu akan kembali lagi kepadanya? Bukankah negeri itu akan benar-benar tercemar?” Engkau telah berzina dengan banyak kekasih, namun kembalilah kepada-Ku, demikianlah firman Yang Mahakekal.
