עַ֚ל אַדְמַ֣ת עַמִּ֔י ק֥וֹץ שָׁמִ֖יר תַּֽעֲלֶ֑ה כִּ֚י עַל־כָּל־בָּתֵּ֣י מָשׂ֔וֹשׂ קִרְיָ֖ה עַלִּיזָֽה׃
Atas tanah umatku akan tumbuh semak duri dan onak, bahkan atas semua rumah yang penuh sukacita dan atas kota yang bersukaria.

Thorns and briers The Targum renders: הוּבֵאִי וּבוּר various types of thorns, for all this destruction shall be on all houses of joy, and on the joyful city Jerusalem, which is “the joy of all the land” (Lamentations 2:15).
