וְצִפִּיתָ֨ אֹת֜וֹ זָהָ֣ב טָה֗וֹר אֶת־גַּגּ֧וֹ וְאֶת־קִירֹתָ֛יו סָבִ֖יב וְאֶת־קַרְנֹתָ֑יו וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ לּ֛וֹ זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב׃
Lapisilah mezbah itu dengan emas murni, yaitu bagian atasnya, dinding-dindingnya di sekelilingnya, dan tanduk-tanduknya; dan buatlah baginya bingkai hiasan dari emas di sekelilingnya.
The Third Beit HaMikdash
In Parshas VeAtah Tetzaveh, the Golden Altar is described: “Its height will be two cubits…. It will have four horns and a gold border.”3Shmos 30:2-3. The Golden Altar was placed in the Sanctuary exactly halfway between the Table and the Menorah, positioned slightly to the east, as Rashi states in Parshas Terumah.4See Rashi, Shmos 26:35. There, Rashi states that all three were placed within the inner half of the Sanctuary.
