Kabbalah Amsal 3:6: Sha'arei Kedusha, Reshit Chokhmah & Da'at Tevunot

Sha'arei Kedusha

After concluding your prayers, go from strength to strength by establishing set times to study the Torah of HaShem-יהו"ה for the sake of its Name (particularly right after the morning prayers). Do not change or postpone these set times under any circumstances. Afterwards, eat your meal of bread with salt and a measure of water, for,265Proverbs 13:25 “a Tzaddik eats to satisfy his soul,” that is, just enough to maintain his health. This too, should be done for the sake of heaven, to have the strength to properly serve HaShem-יהו"ה, as written,266Proverbs 3:6 “In all your ways, know Him.”267Mishneh Torah, Hilchot De’ot, Ch. 3 Approach your table, which is compared to an altar, with awe, for you are eating at the table of the King.

Reshit Chokhmah

And although we have explained the general intention behind eating, there still remains the need to explain it in detail, for we are obligated to unify the Divine Presence in all things, as it is written, "Let all your deeds be for the sake of Heaven" (Pirkei Avot 2:12), and likewise, "In all your ways, know Him" (Proverbs 3:6), as explained in the Gate of Love. This was the virtue of the Patriarchs, that even in their physical actions, they performed acts of unification. A proof of this is the matter of the wells of water that Abraham and Isaac dug, which the Zohar (Parashat Toldot, 141a) explains was similar in significance to the mitzvah of tefillin for us—this is the end of the quote; see there. Similarly, Jacob, with the sticks that he peeled and placed by the troughs, as explained in the Zohar (Parashat Vayetzei, 162a, Secrets of the Torah), had the intention of placing tefillin. This is the wording: "Jacob, who was complete, took the sticks, which are the tefillin of the head, and placed them in the troughs, in two places, corresponding to the openings for the tefillin." This is the end of the quote. Likewise, with regard to the act of eating, in its details, there is complete unification, as we will explain...

Da'at Tevunot

The fifth level, is when the body controls in all aspects, and is like a person reigning in his home, that all of its matter are in their strength and will all their consequences. And this level is also divided into two, and even so is all one level. And this is, because the matters of the body, even in the aspect of the body, can be of two paths, either the secular path and animalistic action, like that actions of most people, or a path of holiness and service, like the matter of (Mishlei 3:6), "in all your ways know him", when everything is in the straight intention as appropriate and like it will be in the future time as it says (Ezezkiel 36:26), " and I will give you a heart of flesh", as was appropriate for man to have had he not sinned. But both of them are like one in any event physical matters, for he needs to eat, needs to drink and it is impossible without this whether the eating or drinking is secular or holy. Both are physical matters:
