אִם־עַל־הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ ט֗וֹב יֵצֵ֤א דְבַר־מַלְכוּת֙ מִלְּפָנָ֔יו וְיִכָּתֵ֛ב בְּדָתֵ֥י פָֽרַס־וּמָדַ֖י וְלֹ֣א יַעֲב֑וֹר אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹֽא־תָב֜וֹא וַשְׁתִּ֗י לִפְנֵי֙ הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵר֔וֹשׁ וּמַלְכוּתָהּ֙ יִתֵּ֣ן הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ לִרְעוּתָ֖הּ הַטּוֹבָ֥ה מִמֶּֽנָּה׃
Jika raja berkenan, hendaklah dikeluarkan suatu titah kerajaan dari hadapannya dan dicatat dalam undang-undang Persia dan Media, sehingga tidak dapat dibatalkan, bahwa Wasti tidak boleh lagi datang ke hadapan Raja Ahasyweros, dan hendaklah raja memberikan kedudukannya sebagai ratu kepada perempuan lain yang lebih baik daripadanya.
