וְכַאֲשֶׁר֙ יְעַנּ֣וּ אֹת֔וֹ כֵּ֥ן יִרְבֶּ֖ה וְכֵ֣ן יִפְרֹ֑ץ וַיָּקֻ֕צוּ מִפְּנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Namun makin mereka menindas bangsa itu, makin bertambah banyaklah bangsa itu dan makin meluas. Maka mereka menjadi muak karena anak-anak Israel.

According to another interpretation, “What God had done for Moses” refers to the time when he was thrown into the Nile and when he was saved from Pharaoh’s sword, and “for Israel his people” to the time when “He heard the groaning”.’
