Ohr Ne'erav
The [divine] Name of Tiferet is YIDAVD, which is indicated [by the verse] Only the Lord had a delight (ḥashak) in your fathers (Deut. 10:15). Ḥashak [is an acronym for the vowels] ḥolem, shva, kamaẓ The four letters indicate the two crowns which succeed Father and Mother, i.e., Yod - Ḥokhmah, heh = Binah. Both of them are included in vav, which influences Malkhut.
Sha'arei Orah
After having informed you of this, contemplate the verse,115Deuteronomy 10:15 “Only your forefathers did HaShem-יהו״ה desire to love,” that is,116Midrash Bereishit Rabba 47:6; 69:3; 82:6 and elsewhere. “The forefathers, are themselves the Supernal Chariot (Merkavah).” The term “desire-Chashak-חשק” may be understood according to the verse,117Exodus 27:11 “[The pillars and] their silver bands-Chashukeihem-חשוקיהם.”118That is, the pillars-Amudim-עמודים here refer to the forefathers, Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov, and their bands-Chashukeihem-חשוקיהם refer to Victory-Netzach and Majesty-Hod. See Tikkunei Zohar 12b. The verse then continues,119Deuteronomy 10:15 ibid. “And He chose their offspring-Zar’am-זרעם after them,” referring to David, who literally is their offspring-Zar’am-זרעם, as it states,120Psalms 97:11 “Light is sown-Zaru’a-זרוע for the righteous-Tzaddik-צדיק.” That is, it is sown-Zaru’a-זרוע in the most literal sense, and the Foundation-Yesod is primary for the seed-Zera-זרע. The sign for this is the verse,121Isaiah 11:1-2 “A staff will grow from the stump of Yishai-ישי, and a shoot will sprout from his roots. The spirit of HaShem-יהו״ה will rest upon him – a spirit of wisdom-Chochmah and understanding-Binah, a spirit of Counsel-Eitzah and Might-Gevurah, a spirit of Knowledge-Da’at, and fear of HaShem-יהו״ה.” Many great principles are included here. After having informed you of these primary principles included in the term “Something-Yesh-יש,” we shall now begin explaining the remaining matters included in this Sefirah, with HaShem’s-יהו״ה help, blessed is He.
