וְֽאֶת־הַצְּפוֹנִ֞י אַרְחִ֣יק מֵעֲלֵיכֶ֗ם וְהִדַּחְתִּיו֮ אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ צִיָּ֣ה וּשְׁמָמָה֒ אֶת־פָּנָ֗יו אֶל־הַיָּם֙ הַקַּדְמֹנִ֔י וְסֹפ֖וֹ אֶל־הַיָּ֣ם הָאַֽחֲר֑וֹן וְעָלָ֣ה בָאְשׁ֗וֹ וְתַ֙עַל֙ צַחֲנָת֔וֹ כִּ֥י הִגְדִּ֖יל לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃
Aku akan menjauhkan yang datang dari utara itu dari kamu, dan Aku akan menghalaunya ke negeri yang kering dan tandus: bagian depannya ke laut timur, dan bagian belakangnya ke laut barat. Bau busuknya akan naik dan bau anyirnya akan membubung, sebab ia telah berbuat jahat besar-besaran.
