וְאָ֣מְר֔וּ עַ֚ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָֽזְב֔וּ אֶת־בְּרִ֥ית יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲו֛וּ לֵאלֹהִ֥ים אֲחֵרִ֖ים וַיַּעַבְדֽוּם׃ (ס)
Lalu orang akan menjawab: “Karena mereka telah meninggalkan perjanjian Yang Mahakekal, Allah mereka, lalu sujud menyembah allah lain dan beribadah kepada allah-allah itu.”
Deuteronomy
And they will reply, ‘‘Because they forsook the covenant of Adonoy, the God of their forefathers, which He made with them when He took them out of the land of Egypt.
