שֵׁ֣שֶׁת יָמִים֮ יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה מְלָאכָה֒ וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י שַׁבַּ֧ת שַׁבָּת֛וֹן קֹ֖דֶשׁ לַיהוָ֑ה כָּל־הָעֹשֶׂ֧ה מְלָאכָ֛ה בְּי֥וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֖ת מ֥וֹת יוּמָֽת׃
Enam hari lamanya pekerjaan boleh dilakukan, tetapi pada hari ketujuh adalah Sabat, hari perhentian penuh, kudus bagi Yang Mahakekal. Siapa pun yang melakukan pekerjaan pada hari Sabat pasti dihukum mati.
