עודינה [עוֹדֵ֙ינוּ֙] תִּכְלֶ֣ינָה עֵינֵ֔ינוּ אֶל־עֶזְרָתֵ֖נוּ הָ֑בֶל בְּצִפִּיָּתֵ֣נוּ צִפִּ֔ינוּ אֶל־גּ֖וֹי לֹ֥א יוֹשִֽׁעַ׃ (ס)
Mata kami masih saja letih menantikan pertolongan kami yang sia-sia; dalam penantian kami, kami menanti-nantikan suatu bangsa yang tidak dapat menyelamatkan.

because of what they did to Me [Because of] the evil that Egypt [did to Me] with their prop, that they assured My people with their futile aid.
