Sekiranya hati mereka tetap seperti ini, sehingga mereka takut akan Aku dan menjaga segala perintah-Ku senantiasa, supaya baik keadaan mereka dan anak-anak mereka untuk selama-lamanya!

Because the Jewish people were fruitful and multiplied: Since everyone's wife became pregnant with a male from the commandment of, "Return to your tents" (Deuteronomy 5:26). But I do not know where it is hinted to.

Would that we had died. Meaning that it is not in the sense of “if” as in “would that I had a sword in my hand” (Bamidbar 22:29) and “would that they were wise” (Devarim 32:29). Rashi uses the word הלואי which has the sense of “would that…” It takes a vav afterwards similar to “מי יתן והיה לבבם” (would that it was in their hearts” (Devarim 5:26), therefore Rashi needed to add in the vav — הלואי ומתנו as if it had read “would that we had died.”
Ibn Ezra
One can ask , if Hashem hardened his heart what was his sin? The answer is that Hashem gave wisdom to man, and placed insight into his heart to be able to draw additional power to increasegood, or to detract from his evil, as i will explain later .......But the reason for the hardening of his heart is to increase My miracles. Rabbi Yeshua states the reason was to allow him to suffer the plagues, and he speaks incorrectly.
