הֹבִ֕ישׁוּ כִּ֥י תוֹעֵבָ֖ה עָשׂ֑וּ גַּם־בּ֣וֹשׁ לֹֽא־יֵב֗וֹשׁוּ גַּם־הַכְלִים֙ לֹ֣א יָדָ֔עוּ לָכֵ֞ן יִפְּל֧וּ בַנֹּפְלִ֛ים בְּעֵת־פְּקַדְתִּ֥ים יִכָּשְׁל֖וּ אָמַ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃ (ס)
Seharusnya mereka malu, sebab mereka telah melakukan kekejian; tetapi mereka sama sekali tidak merasa malu, dan mereka tidak tahu apa artinya dipermalukan. Karena itu mereka akan rebah di antara orang-orang yang rebah; pada waktu Aku menghukum mereka, mereka akan tersandung, demikianlah firman Yang Mahakekal.

המרנעה The refreshing. Comp. מרגוע rest (Job 6:16); both words are substantives. According to the grammarian of Jerusalem13This author is mentioned by I. E. several times, but always without his name. Comp. Moznaim, Introduction: וחכם ירושלמי לא ידענו שמו And a learned man from Jerusalem, whose name I do not know. מרגעה is a participle.14Participle Hiphil of רגע; lit.: that which gives rest.
