רְח֣וּם בְּעֵל־טְעֵ֗ם וְשִׁמְשַׁי֙ סָֽפְרָ֔א כְּתַ֛בוּ אִגְּרָ֥ה חֲדָ֖ה עַל־יְרוּשְׁלֶ֑ם לְאַרְתַּחְשַׁ֥שְׂתְּא מַלְכָּ֖א כְּנֵֽמָא׃
Rehum, sang penyusun surat, dan Simsai, sang juru tulis, menulis sepucuk surat untuk melawan Yerusalem kepada Raja Artahsasta, bunyinya sebagai berikut:
