וְאִם־לֹ֨א תַגִּ֣יע יָדוֹ֮ דֵּ֣י שֶׂה֒ וְהֵבִ֨יא אֶת־אֲשָׁמ֜וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטָ֗א שְׁתֵּ֥י תֹרִ֛ים אֽוֹ־שְׁנֵ֥י בְנֵֽי־יוֹנָ֖ה לַֽיהוָ֑ה אֶחָ֥ד לְחַטָּ֖את וְאֶחָ֥ד לְעֹלָֽה׃
Tetapi jika ia tidak mampu menyediakan seekor domba atau kambing, ia harus membawa kepada Yang Mahakekal sebagai korban atas kesalahannya karena dosa yang telah diperbuatnya dua ekor burung tekukur atau dua ekor anak burung merpati, seekor sebagai korban penghapus dosa dan seekor lagi sebagai korban bakaran.

[234] But if his hand does not find a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons, he shall bring for his gift fine flour the tenth of an ephah. He shall not pour upon it oil, nor put upon it frankincense, because it is a sin offering, and shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take from it a complete handful and lay the memorial upon the altar” (Lev. 5:7 ff.).
