שְׁמֹ֣ר וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֗ אֵ֚ת כָּל־הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָנֹכִ֖י מְצַוֶּ֑ךָּ לְמַעַן֩ יִיטַ֨ב לְךָ֜ וּלְבָנֶ֤יךָ אַחֲרֶ֙יךָ֙ עַד־עוֹלָ֔ם כִּ֤י תַעֲשֶׂה֙ הַטּ֣וֹב וְהַיָּשָׁ֔ר בְּעֵינֵ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ (ס)
Peliharalah dan dengarkanlah segala perkataan ini yang kuperintahkan kepadamu, supaya baik keadaanmu dan keadaan anak-anakmu sesudah kamu untuk selama-lamanya, apabila kamu melakukan apa yang baik dan benar di mata Yang Mahakekal, Allahmu.
On the Change of Names
[42] And so Moses in his Exhortations charges them in these words: “Thou shalt do what is well pleasing before the Lord thy God” (Deut. 12:28), meaning do such things as shall be worthy to appear before God, and when seen to be approved by Him, and such deeds as these commonly extend to our fellow-men.
