וַיִּירָ֧א יַעֲקֹ֛ב מְאֹ֖ד וַיֵּ֣צֶר ל֑וֹ וַיַּ֜חַץ אֶת־הָעָ֣ם אֲשֶׁר־אִתּ֗וֹ וְאֶת־הַצֹּ֧אן וְאֶת־הַבָּקָ֛ר וְהַגְּמַלִּ֖ים לִשְׁנֵ֥י מַחֲנֽוֹת׃
Yakub menjadi sangat takut dan hatinya susah. Lalu ia membagi orang-orang yang bersamanya, juga kambing domba, lembu sapi, dan unta-unta, menjadi dua perkemahan.
