וְחָרָ֣ה אַפִּ֣י ב֣וֹ בַיּוֹם־הַ֠הוּא וַעֲזַבְתִּ֞ים וְהִסְתַּרְתִּ֨י פָנַ֤י מֵהֶם֙ וְהָיָ֣ה לֶֽאֱכֹ֔ל וּמְצָאֻ֛הוּ רָע֥וֹת רַבּ֖וֹת וְצָר֑וֹת וְאָמַר֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא הֲלֹ֗א עַ֣ל כִּֽי־אֵ֤ין אֱלֹהַי֙ בְּקִרְבִּ֔י מְצָא֖וּנִי הָרָע֥וֹת הָאֵֽלֶּה׃

Pada hari itu murka-Ku akan menyala terhadapnya. Aku akan meninggalkan mereka dan menyembunyikan wajah-Ku dari mereka, sehingga ia akan menjadi mangsa, dan banyak malapetaka serta kesesakan akan menimpanya. Pada hari itu ia akan berkata: ‘Bukankah malapetaka-malapetaka ini menimpa aku karena Allahku tidak ada di tengah-tengahku?’

But Samuel said, This [verse above of good actions that are judged harshly refers to] someone who bestows money upon the poor man in the hour of his extreme distress [and not before that point]. Rava said, This is the proverb, Money [to buy] produce, it is not there. To [buy] produce [in a time of distress] that is hung, it is there.
