וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֗ן קַ֣ח אֶת־הַ֠מַּחְתָּה וְתֶן־עָלֶ֨יהָ אֵ֜שׁ מֵעַ֤ל הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ וְשִׂ֣ים קְטֹ֔רֶת וְהוֹלֵ֧ךְ מְהֵרָ֛ה אֶל־הָעֵדָ֖ה וְכַפֵּ֣ר עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם כִּֽי־יָצָ֥א הַקֶּ֛צֶף מִלִּפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה הֵחֵ֥ל הַנָּֽגֶף׃
Musa berkata kepada Harun: “Ambillah perbaraan itu, taruhlah ke dalamnya api dari atas mezbah, bubuhilah ukupan, lalu bawalah segera kepada jemaah dan adakanlah pendamaian bagi mereka, sebab murka telah keluar dari hadapan Yang Mahakekal; tulah telah mulai!”
