וְהֶעֱמִ֨יד הַכֹּהֵ֥ן אֶֽת־הָאִשָּׁה֮ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָה֒ וּפָרַע֙ אֶת־רֹ֣אשׁ הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה וְנָתַ֣ן עַל־כַּפֶּ֗יהָ אֵ֚ת מִנְחַ֣ת הַזִּכָּר֔וֹן מִנְחַ֥ת קְנָאֹ֖ת הִ֑וא וּבְיַ֤ד הַכֹּהֵן֙ יִהְי֔וּ מֵ֥י הַמָּרִ֖ים הַמְאָֽרֲרִֽים׃
Imam harus menempatkan perempuan itu di hadapan Yang Mahakekal, menguraikan rambut di kepala perempuan itu, lalu menaruh persembahan tepung peringatan di telapak tangannya, yaitu persembahan tepung kecemburuan. Imam sendiri harus memegang air pahit yang mendatangkan kutuk.
