וַיִּרְא֤וּ אֹתוֹ֙ הָעָ֔ם וַֽיְהַלְל֖וּ אֶת־אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם כִּ֣י אָמְר֗וּ נָתַ֨ן אֱלֹהֵ֤ינוּ בְיָדֵ֙נוּ֙ אֶת־א֣וֹיְבֵ֔נוּ וְאֵת֙ מַחֲרִ֣יב אַרְצֵ֔נוּ וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר הִרְבָּ֖ה אֶת־חֲלָלֵֽינוּ׃
Ketika rakyat melihat Simson, mereka memuji allah mereka, sebab kata mereka: “Musuh kita, perusak negeri kita, dan orang yang telah membunuh banyak orang di antara kita, telah diserahkan oleh allah kami ke dalam tangan kita.”
