וַיִּקְרָ֥א שִׁמְשׁ֛וֹן אֶל־יְהוָ֖ה וַיֹּאמַ֑ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֡ה זָכְרֵ֣נִי נָא֩ וְחַזְּקֵ֨נִי נָ֜א אַ֣ךְ הַפַּ֤עַם הַזֶּה֙ הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים וְאִנָּקְמָ֧ה נְקַם־אַחַ֛ת מִשְּׁתֵ֥י עֵינַ֖י מִפְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃
Lalu Simson berseru kepada Yang Mahakekal, katanya: “Tuhan Yang Mahakekal, ingatlah aku, kumohon, dan kuatkanlah aku, kumohon, hanya kali ini saja, ya Allah, supaya aku dapat membalas orang Filistin dengan satu pembalasan untuk salah satu dari kedua mataku.”
