וְלֹֽא־אָבָ֤ה הָאִישׁ֙ לָל֔וּן וַיָּ֣קָם וַיֵּ֗לֶךְ וַיָּבֹא֙ עַד־נֹ֣כַח יְב֔וּס הִ֖יא יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְעִמּ֗וֹ צֶ֤מֶד חֲמוֹרִים֙ חֲבוּשִׁ֔ים וּפִילַגְשׁ֖וֹ עִמּֽוֹ׃
Akan tetapi, laki-laki itu tidak mau bermalam. Ia bangkit dan pergi, lalu sampai di dekat Yebus, yaitu Yerusalem. Bersamanya ada sepasang keledai yang berpelana, dan gundiknya pun bersamanya.
