וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לְאַבְרָ֗ם יָדֹ֨עַ תֵּדַ֜ע כִּי־גֵ֣ר ׀ יִהְיֶ֣ה זַרְעֲךָ֗ בְּאֶ֙רֶץ֙ לֹ֣א לָהֶ֔ם וַעֲבָד֖וּם וְעִנּ֣וּ אֹתָ֑ם אַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָֽה׃
Lalu Ia berfirman kepada Abram: “Ketahuilah dengan sungguh-sungguh bahwa keturunanmu akan menjadi orang asing di negeri yang bukan milik mereka, dan mereka akan diperbudak serta ditindas selama empat ratus tahun.
