וַיִּשָּׂ֨א אַבְרָהָ֜ם אֶת־עֵינָ֗יו וַיַּרְא֙ וְהִנֵּה־אַ֔יִל אַחַ֕ר נֶאֱחַ֥ז בַּסְּבַ֖ךְ בְּקַרְנָ֑יו וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ אַבְרָהָם֙ וַיִּקַּ֣ח אֶת־הָאַ֔יִל וַיַּעֲלֵ֥הוּ לְעֹלָ֖ה תַּ֥חַת בְּנֽוֹ׃
Lalu Abraham mengangkat matanya dan melihat, dan tampaklah kemudian seekor domba jantan yang tanduknya tersangkut di semak belukar. Maka Abraham pergi, mengambil domba jantan itu, lalu mempersembahkannya sebagai korban bakaran sebagai pengganti anaknya.
