וַיָּשִׂ֤ימוּ עָלָיו֙ שָׂרֵ֣י מִסִּ֔ים לְמַ֥עַן עַנֹּת֖וֹ בְּסִבְלֹתָ֑ם וַיִּ֜בֶן עָרֵ֤י מִסְכְּנוֹת֙ לְפַרְעֹ֔ה אֶת־פִּתֹ֖ם וְאֶת־רַעַמְסֵֽס׃
Maka mereka mengangkat pengawas-pengawas kerja rodi atas bangsa itu untuk menindasnya dengan beban-beban kerja mereka. Bangsa itu membangun bagi Firaun kota-kota perbekalan, yaitu Pitom dan Rameses.
