וַיְצַ֣ו פַּרְעֹ֔ה לְכָל־עַמּ֖וֹ לֵאמֹ֑ר כָּל־הַבֵּ֣ן הַיִּלּ֗וֹד הַיְאֹ֙רָה֙ תַּשְׁלִיכֻ֔הוּ וְכָל־הַבַּ֖ת תְּחַיּֽוּן׃ (ס)
Lalu Firaun memerintahkan seluruh rakyatnya, “Setiap anak laki-laki yang lahir harus kamu lemparkan ke Sungai Nil, tetapi setiap anak perempuan biarkanlah hidup.”
